Could I flash original Firmware?

Hello,

I am sorry, but I am a noob at this area.. I have bought a Sony Ericsson W880i from UK to use it to Greece.. The main problem I have is that is sim locked at orange telecoms.. Although, If I bypass sim lock (I am trying with a guide at that forum), The orange menu will not change, right?

Could I flash the Sony Ericcson w880i firmware, to make that phone to looks like a new..

I want to notify you that I have already a second model for that job, If it can helps eache other..

and put a firmware with generic Main and a FS with your region, and the CDA must be the same region of the FS

well, you can try with this

and to extract the main, you need to use the READ FLASH option with Setool2lite

with the FS and MAin's backup you can flash the other w880

this works if your backups is from another w880

first at all, you need know what cid have your phone, make a identify log with setool2lite
