Increasing The message limit

On what phones does this work on? Does it work on newer phones? Does it work on w580i??

I have found a patch for w580i anyway but I haven't tested it.

Sony Ericsson's limit when compared to some other phones are better at the messaging limit because there are phone that offer much less space for messages.
