how to format m2 memory stick using my w580i phone?

i want to format the m2 memory stick...since after i put like few movie in to the video folder and every time i try to go to video folder or using the video player...it freeze/lag the phone ;/

the m2 im using is 4gb...its like if i used over 2gb it lag the phone...is there any way to fix it?

i dont think u can fix it
i think SE says how much memory each phone can handle , so if yours lags >2GB
then 2GB is the max

Hmm.. how bout hooking the phone up to the computer and formatting it there as a disk in partition magic etc and only use 2gb? :D

@xhui: try formatiing it in File Transfer mode through your PC to FAT, not FAT32. I think your phone will fly!
