Maybe he want to go on MSN...or sam messenger...hmmm...im not shure does he need POP3 for that....but POP3 try to find from your operater! They will help you for shure!

for free hotmail does'nt support POP3 Only http protocol, then there is no way to use it on mobile, but yahoo or gmail use pop3 protocol , also it's possible having gmail or yahoo mail on mobile email client
