Arrow W810 Phone Wont turn on!!

I bought a w810 phone a year ago, and 1 month after buying it, it just went dead ( beacuse I kept turning it on / off , to get better reception :( 3rd time, just stoped n won't turn on )... ..

Its been over a year, and I got a w300 phone, and decided to mess around with it and was able to successfully flash it and debrand it.
And I noticed someitmes, the phone won't turn on (during the process)
this got me to thinking... .. maybe something is wrong with the firmware on my w810 and not the hardware.

so I need help fixing it :P

The problem now is. When I plug in the phone to the charger I get a steady red light on the inferred. But when I plug in the phone to my computer, it doesn't light up and the computer doesn't find it :(.

What could be the problem? And is there a fix for it?

infrared light on ussually means a damaged EROM, update EROM with Wotan, it's free, then reflash the phone, read a bit more about updating EROM, maybe search for tutorial. You can also down the EROM from this site and load it with XS++ or SeTool.I recomend Wotan, many people did succesfully and also back-up your GDFS (XS++ or SeTool) it's important. Before doing anything read more.

EROM update via Wotan won't work since the phone is DB2020.

Sorry, I meant since Wotan only supports DB2020 EROM repair for free. My mistake ;)

    Thanks... ..

I will try the EROM. I hope it works, I took it to 2 places to repair, n I didn't work ( cuz they thought something was wrong with the motherboard n tried replacing it ).

so even though the phone won't turn on or connect to pc its a software problem? ( only inferred turns on when plugged to powersupply/charger ).

Ill let u guys know my progress... ..

Now I need to find more info on EROM ( links would be useful )

** The problem is my computer is not even picking up the phone ( when u press "C" And connect ) It doesn't detect the phone :( is there Away to fix it still?? And I created An Account with the WotanClient... ..
