    Upgrading GDFS

    Is there anyway to upgrade the CID 51 or CID 52 GDFS??????

    Story goes like this, received the phone in blinking white LCD, do recovery phone with no result.....backup a new GDFS from a new phone and write it on that blinking phone and DEAD!!!!!!!.....

    Tried to reflash but no respond when pressing "C" and "2+5".....only red LED blinking on ir.....

    Anybody can help me with it?

    And there is no help by using USB due to the "C" and "2+5" no respond at all......I'm using SETools3 to flash and flash anf flash but no result.

    as far as i am aware you cannot use GDFS from another phone as they are unique to each phone and you will end up with a dead phone


    with regards to the blinking red LED on infered you could try repairing erom there is a guide on how to do this

    What phone are you using?
    How did you flash it with SET3 when the phone doesn`t even respond?!

    blinking red light means you EROM is damaged, repair it and after that flash phone. You can't upgrade GDFS, it is unique to every phone. Your problem is the EROM

    Your EROM is damaged, that hapened to me once, and i used wotan server to fix it. It was for free. Use wotan server and leave the login and password blank.
