    Battery upgrade possible?

Just wondering, is there such thing as a battery upgrade, so you can purchase a better battery with a longer life?

Really? I thought you only had to do that with Nickel batteries.

I know you could get better batterys with Nokias... Not sure about Sony Ericssons. I'm pretty sure if you browsed enough, you'd find some kind of "Super SE Battery" :P

There are batteries (have only seen them from other companies than SE) with higher capacities than the origninals.

I've got a few of those but never had a new one, to compare it with an original battery.

sometimes when you upgrade the s/w of a phone you get a 10% to 30% increase in battery life....ericsson k700 (according to the manufacturer)does that...so yes it is possible

@marinos4 actually this is not a battery upgrade. The firmware has got optimized settings for saving energy so it lasts longer (whereas I don't think that it will really last 30% longer)
