If you "burn-in" the battery correctly, it should get your further. Similar to the laptop batteries.

Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys
*3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will
show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you
charge your cell next time.
I've heard this from my friend, but not sure about it.Thoughts?
It's possible to insert the W850's battery of 800 mAh to a k300? Maybe it can work and increase the stand-by time and talk time.
I'll try that combination and see if it does anything
[EDIT]
*3370# does not doi anything
Li-Ion batteries don't need any burn-in.
Upgrades should be possible, but it might be difficult to even find a replacement. Li-Ion batteries die after a while, even if lying on a shelf.
The capacity of the battery is measured in mAh (Amper hour / 1000).
The improvement allow the production of batteries with more and more density of energy.
For instance the K700 was designed and produced about 3 years ago now.
Today is possible to produce the same battery with higher mAh.
Even if SonyEricsson doesn't invest in old project it's possible to buy 3rd part replacement with better performance.
yu can't upgrade a battery like a laptop where theres 6 cell n 8 cells cuz the more cells yu have in a battery the bigger it'll be and since yu have cell fone i don't think think you want a battery that is bigger than your phone lol
Is it a good idea to turn your phone off overnight if you don't plan on using it to conserve battery?
