Connect your SE phone using XS++ or FarManager (jdflasher) to upload files:

    Keep Back up:
    go to FS/tpa/preset/system/language

copy the lng.dat & lng.lst file in your computer

Upload language files on your SE phone:
    1. upload uk.lng and uk.t9 files from your computer to tpa/preset/system/language in your SE phone.
    2. also in tpa/preset/system/language in phone delete the setting File “allowed Languages ” or delete the lng.dat & lng.lst file. Just find out the file in which you think the settings are stored and delete it. The file is mostly named as lng.dat or allowed languages.
    3. then upload the customize.xml that you edited to tpa/preset/custom/

Disconnect your phone,Restart it. Backup Contact and Do Master Reset ! New language will be added

Re: [TUTORIAL] Add a Language file on your Sony Ericsson Phone.

    Hello,

I hope someone can help me.

I'm looking for Hebrew + Arabic package.
I did an update to my Sony Ericsson "zylo" with the official PC companion and lost the option to choose the previous language.
It gives me only English and European languages.

Please, can you upload a version for the above languages?

    Thank you!
    Yasmin

Re: [TUTORIAL] Add a Language file on your Sony Ericsson Phone.

Sorry to bump such old thread.
I am trying to do this on a K810i.
I downloaded languages from K750 because I can't find the ones for K810i. I did as the tutorial, and I can select the new added languages on the Writing, but not as Menu language.
    Any idea?

    Hi skinnie,you can use
    EUROPE_1
    English - Portuguese - Spanish - French
    VFE_LIVE_1
    English - Greek - Spanish - French - Dutch - Portuguese - Swedish

If you use vfe live 1 then you must use FS vfe live 1 and it will be branded. You must check CID on your phone and download correct cid.

So it is not like in A2 phone where I can have central europe firmware and later add languages for both menus and T9, like here?
    Adding languages for A2
