Hello in this tutorial we will learn how to perform the Xperia X8Overclocking by SetCPU. All the steps explained here to be taken by the user is entirely at YOUR OWN RISK.
requirements:
- Be user ROOT
- Have the last 015 Baseband
- Have installed SetCPU & Root Explorer
1 - downloaded to our PC the attachment at the end of the tutorialwith the name "x8oc-v004.zip" and unzip it. We have a fileextention. "Ko". In this last copy it to the root of the SD.
2 - With RootExplorer copy the file to the path "/ system / lib / modules"
3 - With Root Explorer (Once step 2) we go to the path "/ system /etc" and look for the "hw_config.sh"
4 - precionado maintain and select "Open Text Editor"
5 - Find the line:
Code:
insmod / system/lib/modules/x8oc.ko
In this same line we add "# x8 overclocking" and save the changes. Would look like:
Code:
insmod / system/lib/modules/x8oc.ko # x8 overclocking
6 - Restart our telephone
7 - Open SetCPU and select "Autodetect recommended speeds" (Automatically detect the speeds recommended) and set thedesired frequency.
Here some of the Sail Area:

ATTENTION: As we increase the Mhz increase the risk of instability in our phone.
