No, it's not a problem if you use K610_R1KG001_FS_T_MOB_INT_A_RED52, but you'll have a branded phone. If you want to debrand, too, you must use K610_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52(English - French - German - Sesotho - Zulu - Turkish). If you want dutch language too, you must use an older version k610_R1JG001_FS_EUROPE_3_RED52(English - Danish - Dutch - French - German). You can't have Polish, German and Dutch with "generic" firmware.
Why don't you convert your K610 to W660 with this newer firmware:
    W660_R8BB001_MAIN_GENERIC_FY_RED52
    W660_R8BB001_FS_EUROPE_3_RED52 and custom file
    HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_12_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_3 ?
If you want to, search around for "Converting K610/K618/V630, Z610 and K530 to W660. Full Guide!"

    Re: k610i problem patch

    Right. I managed to apply:
    A. using X++ 3.1 (I simply didn't know how to apply FS file with SETool2Lite1.11)
    K610_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_TH_RED52.mbn and
    K610_R1KG001_FS_T_MOB_INT_A_RED52.fbn
    B. next step using SETool2Lite1.11 I applied bypassing DB2020security
    K610_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_TH_RED52.mbn and
    quick_access_K610_R1KG001.vkp (from qamaker.exe)
    C. finally I applied using SETool2Lite1.11 with quick access option
    Remove_SIM_lock_K610_R1KG001.vkp (generated with SIMLockPatchGen_v2.1)

All seemed like in the book. I had a failure at step B though, when writing 460 blocks (I made mistake plugging the telephone not the way it should be) but started all over from step A and then I went through all the procedures without problems.

Now, when I switch my mobile on, I get a choice:
    Start phone
    Normal
    Flight mode

No matter if Normal or Flight mode, I get this message then and it hangs:
Configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service centre.
If I don't select any of those, I can get to Service Info (>*<<*<*) and all padlocks are open.

What's wrong? I have tried original SIM from 3 and from another network and no difference.

I have found for example Downloads > Custom Files > k610custpack
    K610i_CDA102497_46_R24A_3_United_Kingdom
Do I need to apply it or anything similar? Or MAIN, FS files should be different at first?

    Thanks

If you flashed K610_R1KG001_FS_T_MOB_INT_A_RED52.fbn, you must customize with K610i_CDA102497_13_R19A_T-Mobile_DE_Germany. Just put the ".zip" archive to "Misc Files" in Setool and hit "Flash".
I don't understand, though: what all this has to do with the thread Far Manager ?

    Re: k610i problem patch

Probably nothing to do with Far Manager (whatever this is) but I tried to stick to this thread: k610i problem patch. And after these last answers I have noticed there was another one, regarding W660. I thought about it earlier, before registering here but saw some problems people were describing (like solved illumination, though some posts were denying it, that it is not perfect). And somehow I decided to do it after you gave me on the plate these files names. So I did not flash missing K610i_CDA102497_13_R19A_T-Mobile_DE_Germany, but went straight into
    W660_R8BB001_MAIN_GENERIC_FY_RED52
    W660_R8BB001_FS_EUROPE_3_RED52 and custom file
    HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_12_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_3

    and
    Converting K610/K618/V630, Z610 and K530 to W660. Full Guide!.
So now this thread transforms to W660.
I have followed those instructions without problems (I did skip Sony Ericsson Update Service).
My telephone though is network locked now (Service Info>SIM lock).Other padlocks are open. I can use it with 3 (as it was originally)
I can see, K610_Pack_1.zip file contains few others patches (next to illumination one), one of them W660 R8BB001 Unlock.vkp
    Will this unlock network padlock?
Also, do you have some comments, if I had purchased some music, i.e. dcf files on my k610i. It seems I cannot play them on w660i. Perhaps I need to re-download them on this 'new' model.

    Re: k610i problem patch

I have applied W660 R8BB001 Unlock.vkp and unlocked network padlock so now all padlocks are open.
I can now enjoy unlocked telephone plus as this is w660i it gives another joy of freshness, something new.
I have also enjoyed the whole excitement whether I am going to ruin this mobile or not, but this is just a spare one so I was not risking a lot.
Many thanks for all your help.
