    Unhappy Google maps

    Hi all
I use google maps in my k810. I have a problem with this software and that’s about maps! it needs to connect to internet to load maps. is there any way to load maps offline? I mean a link that we can download maps and satellite pictures and then put them into phone (just like wayfinder navigator). Any1 can help me?
    tnx

    Re: Google maps

I think Google Maps feeds you bitmap-like images, while something with fully-loaded maps is storing vector data. A complete street map made of bitmap images (of any compression type, eg .jpg or .png) is going to be a lot larger than a map made of vectors.

Even in vector form, a US map is several hundred megabytes. I don't know how big a full download of Google Maps would be, but it would probably be many gigabytes even just for a regional map.

    hi Manivel
if you are in a forbiden country like iran you have to go to wap.getjar.com by your phone browser and then click on search and then search google maps. else, just go to google, click more and then maps. that's all.
    have a nice day

Click extract here on archive, then move *.jad and *.jar files to phone and install *.jad
I edit *.jad file to install *.jar without connect to internet for download, but after starting of GoogleMaps you must acceppt license .. then must connect to use internet.
