    Re: [Debrand] A2 (Db3150) Tutorial

    Thank you so much, i tried it twice, because the first time SEUS said that my phone was up to date, and when i reread the directions, i found i forgot to turn it on after transferring the upgrade XML fine.

    Now my AT&T branded w760a will be a Sony Ericsson w760i... removing all AT&T logos...
    for all other w760 users, hold down the '5' key instead of 'C'

    There is one more tool for debrand - KK client , but you must search on Google for firmware suitable with KK ( KulanKendi)

    Nah its not, would of thought a debrand would work as the files are found in the same folders within the phones :S. Guess i cant do anything :(

    For my UK Vodafone W595 I used:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
    - <customization>
    - <info>
    <cda-number>1214-5668</cda-number>
    </info>
    </customization>

    Initially it didn't work but the filename is case sensitive so must be "Customize_upgrade.xml", with a capital "C".

    Also, be sure to turn the phone on and off again after copying "Customize_upgrade.xml".

    Then, when you run SEUS it says that the most up to date software is already installed but instead of quoting the W595 VF LIVE software it quotes W595 WESTERN EUROPEAN and asks to reinstall anyway. Agree to reinstall anyway and this debrands it.
