sms alert louder k800i

Hi,can anyone please tell me if i would be able to make my sms alert louder as i hardly ever hear it when i receive a new message even though it is turned up to full volume.

I'm not the best person to tell you what to do, but I had an idea...xD

1st: You need to know what is the format of the sms' messages.
2nd: Choose the sound you want, and use a program to converse its format to the sms format, and the phone may agree...heheh

That's my unique idea...if you want..try it! :D
