broken screen...

i have just buy a faulty phone.... to hopefully fix and use...

it is a w850i - slide...


it has a faulty screen (the LCD is crack) you can see black

when i turn it on, the light illuminates and makes a bleep - but because of the damaged screen it only goes white, i am hoping i will be able to open it up somehow, and fit a new screen....


however i wanted to see if i could connect it to XS++


Can i tell from this info, if the phone is locked or branded at all?

its branded... but... i cannot say if it is locked or not...
but first at all, i think you have to upgrade your CID to 52

first fix the screen.. and if the phone is locked.. so you can unlock it.. should not be a problem.

I doubt you can fix a broken screen mate, but I'm no expert

sure.. you have to need replace some parts... (screen) without physically work its impossible.. that's clear...

The screens are quite easy to replace. As for see if its locked or not hook it upto Se tools lite and copy the log back in here.

Usually if its generic trade it usually means that its come directly from the manufactures as an unlocked phone, with Generic trade firmware
