What is the difference between R8BE001_RED53 and R8BE001_RED52 and the R8BG001_RED53.

Is it worth upgrading and does it fix the lousy battery life of the W580.

A cool upgrade would be one the includes DSP background noise reduction.

I doubt those would make a difference in battery life.

Also if your phone is currently cid52 you are advised not to upgrade to cid53 as this currently has low support by the flashing and modification tools (although jd flasher does support this)

Also, firmware will often not make any major changes to features of the phones - it mainly just includes bug fixes.

The only thing that would affect your battery life is stuff that is included in customisation packs, like adjustments to light settings, etc.

PS. If you find anything like that DSP background noise reduction, PLEASE send it to me, or post it here or something. you would definitely be my hero =P

    Re: W580

Is there any benefit to go from R8BA024 CID 52 to R8BE001 Cid 52? Does anybody know of any improvements? Apparently the light bug is not fixed yet.

    Any ideas...
