Hi all,

I am going mad...!!
I am trying to unlock my DB2020 but I am having difficulties with Setool Lite.

When I download it and unzip it, in the unzipped folder I never find a Setoolite.exe or anything that suggests me that it is a file to install it.

Now..do I need to find such a file? Or there is a different way to install it?

And one more thing, I have Norton Antivirus which detects (as soon as I unzip the folder) a virus. So I thought that Norton was causing this problem therefore I decided to unzip the folder switching off Norton... but still the same..

The items that I need in the folder are:
- drivers (folder)
- logs (folder)
- make_rest (folder)
- Patchwise.back (folder)
- ph_out (folder)
- qamaker (folder)
- rest (folder)
- script (folder)
- log (.txt)
- Patchwise (.txt)
- setool2lib_lt.dll

The only .exe files are qamaker and ssw2rest

anyone can help?

Probably your AV killed the SETool2 Lite executable from zip package. Download it again(disable Norton before), and try to "install" it.

And don`t worry if your AV says it`s a virus, because it`s not. Only do like simox said and it should work.

Sorry if I'm bringing back an old thread, but I'm having a similar problem with this program.

The file is there an everything, but whenever I try to open it I get the following error message - "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I am the administrator on my computer and have tried it on a different machine. I've also tried downloading the file again both from the same source and a different one - still the same error. My anti-virus is AVG Free and I disable it when I try to run SETool2Lite.

Can anyone help?

All I want to do is add the radio patch to my W710i.

Any other way besides SETool2Lite? I'm not too fond of this program (prefer XS++)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

disable your antivirus, restart pc and try again, if it still doesn't work, download again while your antivirus is diabled
