hi

i hve resently flash my k800i with the following firmware "K800_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_1_RED52.fbn" i and the follwing custpck
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_10_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_1 but now i just have notcied a problem the backlight does not wanna go off anymore, sometimes it will go off but then not come back on, but normally it just stays on and this decreases the battery time.

please can some one help me ASAP

yes i did flash the main firmare..and i did forget when i switch my phone off and put it back on it says "errors occur in the menu.ml this may render the menu unusable" but the menu does work fine as logn as i seen.

please help

menu ml problems ocur beuse u have flash matching files retry with matching files this should solve the back light problem

ok i flashed the main firmware with this file "K800_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_1_RED52.fbn" and now what custpack will i need

use the files that phil has told you. but what i do want to highlight is, are you sure you read the tutorial? please do go over it again. cause you seem to be using the wrong files in the wrong places.

K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52 is your main file (ie. first tick box)
K800_R8BF003_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52 is your fs file (ie. second tick box)

ok i have done all that..i think backlight now goes of but now i have another problem i have started the phones and it says "configuration error. please contact your network operator or service centre" what have i done wrong now.

i did realize something, i left the simcard in is that the problem.
