I tried FSX (file upload) in XS++ and after several hours of bruteforcing I was successful. It said:

I tried again the next day and it was bruteforcing again! Why?

Is this expected? Shouldn't it be unlocked already?

it has to be bruteforced each time. XS++ doesn't remember the code to unlock it

That would be bad, but thanks to the customize_upgrade.xml trick, I went through my very last bruteforce already. Happy now :)

i work with all of phone XS ( beta...XS++ ) but all version need repeat bruthforce to unlock the loader

I have still my CID49-firmware on my k800i. i hope you have same phone. For me the trick doesnt work (every font was messed up). Can u uplaod the proper k800 cid 49 cmz_config.xml?

I have a Z710i and I did not manipulate cmz_config.xml. I used the db2020 no-bruteforce hack [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and just uploaded the customize_upgrade.xml to the phone via bruteforcing. Now I can make changes through default_upgrade.xml in the accessible part of the filesystem. Did you use the correct customize_upgrade.xml for your phone (the one with source="usb/other...")? You do not need to touch cmz_config.xml at all.

oops, i dunno. I thought i have choosen the right one..then it did reset it, it shows the loading screen and then on next start all is messed up :x.
I am downloading now the files from your posting :)
Have to backup my settings tho


atm i use the trick from this forum..but it does read the default_upgrade each start ;)

EDIT: I looked at the code from your link. So this looks bout the same. So do you have a "waiting" screen on phonestart, too?

Yes, it shows a "waiting" screen on each phonestart (sometimes even a progress bar), but that does not bother me. It is simply the price I pay for being able to do instant changes to the phone without bruteforcing.
