hi guys I have a major problem!!!!!!!
please help me!!!!

I decided to patch my phone a z550i
so after trying setool lite
and not succeding....

tried gslide 1.6
set the correct flash header DB2010 red 49 344 blocks
followed all instructions carfully

flashed (modded) main file with xss++ and here is the log:

where to start with fixing this MAJOR problem?
I have a spare battery in another phone, and I have latest GDFS backup

PLEASE help ME!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you applied wrong main firmware file.

i know that if you cancel it at the last number, if its .bin then it does freeze on xs++ as i know from K750i>W800i CID49 Conversion.

does you phone blink a red LED light by the power button or the infra red button when it try to turn it on? if it does, it could be a erom problem.
Cant really see what you flash to your phone cause i havnt read through your entire log, but i have feeling you flashed it with the wrong firmware.
it should be repairable thoguh.

try doing full flash XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing, Customizing, Recovering - Top Sony Forums
and also repair the erom Upgrading or repairing the EROM (FOTA) in phones CID 49 or CID 51 with Phone XS - Top Sony Forums

if u have ur back up gdfs from that phone add it to the mis box on se tool light press wright gdfs hold the 2 and 5 button and concet it to ur usb

ok, thankfully got the problem sorted out.

waited overnight then connected to xss++
reflashed main+fs.

in the process removed patches while flashing
now got the phone working again.

8th time I have tried to patch this phone unsuccesfuly
apparently its not possible to patch z550i.


anyway thanks guys for all your help.
p.s :would like to know if their is any other way to patch this phone.

patching with VKP files? OR unlocking Z500i?

customizing - successful
patches - successful

mine is z500i DB2010 CID49 RED, S_ASIAN_LEVAN
i think same as urs.
plz post ur prob in detail. i 'll c hw cn i help
