Still SEUS is the safest and easiest way to upgrade your firmware. Just make sure that you have a stable connection. Close all working applications and firewall to have a smooth operation. Follow all of the instructions properly and surely it would be a success...

if it doesn't work... then you need to install the usbflash thing to make the drivers work you can find it in google or look around the thread... the way i upgraded mine is what i did is I got a total great package and a free tutorial on how to flash the phone and debrand it.. now I have a real sony ericsson w810i phone not a *cingular,Orange,tmobile,etc...* branded phone. well here's the link for the stuff you need.

SEUS it's not allways the safest way, i read on this forum people complaining that SEUS damaged their phone. I did it with XS++.

yes... if you upgrade your phone with seus you cannot use it with phonexs anymore. coz if im not mistaken seus will upgrade your cid to 52 and phonexs doesnt support it or far manager... am i right??

it will upgrade to CID 52 only if there is a cid 52 firmware avaible for the phone. W810i's every firmware is cid 49, so there is no way SEUS will upgrade to cid 52, the latest firmware for W810i is R4EK001_RED49, 49 from the end comes from CID 49.
