These are some of the fonts that i came across for this cool phone. I intentionally created this thread since some db2020 fonts would not fit well with 176x220 resolution. These fonts would work well for db2020 phones with a 176x220 screen resolution. Many thanks to diezil for helping me.

If you have some fonts that would look good in this phone, feel free to post them here..Also, if you have some fonts that you want to be scaled down, just upload them and i'll try to reply as soon as possible.

About the fonts:
w610 original fonts.rar are the original fonts based on cent_europe FS

diezil's w610 scaled fonts 90%.rar is a ttf font scaled down to 90% by diezil. Very nice font!

Sony_Sketch_EF_205.rar is a font created by diezil. Check out more about that HERE

w610 original fonts rescaled to 80%.rar is the w610 original system fonts that i scaled down to 80%

The main reason why i posted smaller fonts is because i like to have smaller fonts for this phone, since in my opinion they are a bit too large. dont forget to upload to TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\FONTS. enjoy!

I have a K550, and I'm looking for fonts resembling the ones in W200, K750, Z530, W810, and so on. I don't know if they have the exact same font, but any of those would work for me.

I tried 80% and 90% above, and the bold is not working. I even tried to fix the font.xml, but it still doesn't work. The font looks nice, but wherever it was supposed to be bold, it' regular, even though the file is correct. Can u check that?

Could you scale the original font from w610 to 70%? :-)

hmm.. that's strange.. all i did was rescale them, and yep, i checked fonts.xml, the files were correct..

try to test this then, i did a 90% resized font but a bigger version for bold..

Check your pm, I've inboxed you a link to another 3 of my releases for you to resize and mess around with for 176x220 user's :)

Monotype_Corsiva_SE (With OM4 Fix, contains Regular+Bold).

MS_Arial_SE_Regular (Arial 5.01 taken from Vista... only contains Regular as I was only testing the g & j bug fix (actually the font I found how to fix the bug with).... maybe you could use the bold transform feature).

Sony_Sketch_WC (Single ttf file release.... not sure if you'll be able to use this one 176x220 as I had to upp the size to correctly view on 240x320, but will look nice on PC, and it may look OK when resized on smaller pixel screen :)) not really an everyday font, its created mainly for PC GFX'ing use, but I released for phone also due to request of a friend.

There all releases for 240x320 so I've already added/created the extra symbols and fixed the g & j bug when I released them so there just waiting to be resized....

I'll let you take the glory of that :p

Monotype Corsiva is actually a really nice its my current installed font (I use it over SS_205) its just the PC version with the fixes and I added 3 or 4 symbols that were missing.

Anyway I pm'ed you the link if you want to mess around with them :)

Thanks man. But it still doesn't work. I tried 90 and 70%, using the font.xml file u provided.

It's really weird and I have no clue why this happens. All sms text is still incorrectly bold and all contact list is incorrectly regular.

I'm guessing my phone doesn't want me to go away from it's original font, hehehe.

And the strangest thing is, I've tried some various other fonts, which didn't even had a separate bold file, it was all in one small file, and it worked perfectly, but I didn't like them, hehehe.

You could always edit the layout.xml to correct the sms (writing), but I'm not sure if we can do that for the contact font?

hmmn.. could it be based on firware version or FS?
'cause those fonts were from R8BA024 CENT EUROPE FS
