this is the part I dont understand, what is mkrest? how to do a rest file?
mkrest.exe is an application to create a rest file for your phone, if you don't have that rest file, your phone will not start up when you apply patch. it is simple tp make the rest file, just drag and drop your main file over the mkrest.exe, the rest file will be created in the c:\documents and settings\user\ folder. you'll find mkrest.exe in the setool\mk_rest folder and you need to copy the created rest file to setool\rest. that's it
The mkrest is included with jdflasher (in rest subfolder). You have to execute it by windows terminal (dos like screen, for inputting commands). Put a copy of your firmware (the same that is flashed in the phone), then do something just like the following example (changing the name of the file with your recently copied firmware filename):
mkrest <W200_blablablablablabalbla.ext>
Then it's done!

Another question, if I could wrong something during the procedure, will I kill my phone or simply I wont succeed to patch it but it will work the same as before?

can pls help me how to connect my w200i phone to my computer to use the jdflash unlocker...... i had a cid53 w200i. i cant open it because of sim lock........
