Sony Ericsson K810i DEAD after failed attempt at unlocking via D-client v1.50.0019beta

I dont know if I'm in the right place but I need serious help (I'm a noob)

1) I used D-Client_v1.50.0019.Beta to unlock my Sony Ericsson K810i but it stuffed up during the ending procedures...

2) I purchased the Sony Ericsson DB2020 CID52 Unlock from GSMLiberty ($25US) and received 3 credits.

3) I followed all the instructions emailed to me by GSMLiberty but something went wrong.

4) All I know is that now my seK810i cannot even turn on (it is not recognised by the computer via usb, it doesn't want to charge) its basically dead. Plus my 3 credits are gone

I'm very disappointed and feel frustrated. If there is anyone out there who can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

P.S. I contacted GSM Liberty via email but they just said that they will place me with higher tech support - still waiting... Some guys in a different forum tried to help me - they said to full flash the mobile etc... - but I'm a noob (plus if I use some program it will not be able to recognise the phone because the computer cannot recognise via usb).

Look why did you use the beta and not a final version, because this can be wrong why it didn`t go well. Otherwise you can unlock your phone for free with this:

I did a little research and find out that this is only a Customization error ( you need finalize your phone with HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_10_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_1 )

Sorry, but how do you finalize - i looked around for a way but keep getting confused. Can Setool do it? is there a guide and if so can you give me a link to it - I'll continue to search for it.

I cant full flash my phone. It keeps reaching a certain point then the phone disconnects from the computer - u can hear the usb disconnect sound - then nothing...

I used the info that u gave me and followed it...

I'm worried that i stuffed up the phone when i tried to flash it via d-client. Plus the only way to connect the phone to the comp is to press 2+5.

Any help will greatly assist.

Can anyone check that attachment and see if it's alright - I don't know squat - maybe this can tell a pro user what's my phone missing etc - btw i recognised that my phones was flashed with the following files by d-client:
1) K810i_CXC1250811_Generic_R6BC002_Red52.ck81sw (for the MAIN)
2) K810i_CXC1250813_Europe1_R6BC002_Red52.ck81fs (for the FS)

...but the files that I researched for my k810i are:
1) K810_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52.mbn (unzipped)
2) K810_R6BC002_FS_EUROPE_1_RED52.fbn (unzipped)
and
3) HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_10_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_1 (zipped)

please check this out, as i am not a pro i really can't say much about the following data (what happened with d-client)...:confused:

i backed up my GDFS "K810_35799401xxxxxx_GDFS_BACKUP"

i appreciate any assistance in helping me revive my phone from the dead - i hope the information that i provided can assist a pro user in understanding what my phone needs...

Well, so you can use XS++ to reflash your phone. You can 1st try flashing the customization HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_10_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_1 , if indeed it's only a question of lack of customization.

If that fails, reflash the MAIN, FS and Customization.

hope u sorted your phone. if you haven't then setool can revive 4 sure. but DO READ UNTIL YOUR SURE U HAVE PROCESS PERFECTLY UNDERSTOOD, and follow to the letter.

The SE K810i is still dead after a successful added the customization file.

I tried to re-flash the Main, FS and the customization but that was unsuccessful since the phone disconnected itself from the computer's USB in the middle of the procedure.

Is anyone familiar with my situation. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. At least the dead phone is able to be recognized by the computer, [SeTool 2 Lite 1.11] and [XS++ V3.1 Darwin]

Q: May this sudden 'disconnection' in the middle of the above procedure be due to low battery?
- I really cant tell if it does have low battery or not, the screens blank and no lights.

I tried to charge the battery - the phone is showing a red light on its bottom rights hand side (the infra red receiver). Is this a good sign? To me its better than nothing.

I flashed the customization but the phone doesn't want to turn on. Maybe the battery is flat so I'm charging it, or maybe there's something else to it.

I read somewhere that this may be due to the phone's EROM (when the infra red port is glowing red and the phone appears dead).

I'll try to further investigate it. If any of you guys know what's going on please help a fella out here - I'm a noob and have wasted so much time over researching and stressing/worrying - so if there is anybody out there who can explain this please do.

The phone still wont turn on.

My seK810i has the following characteristics:
1) Phone wont turn on

2) The infra red port has a red light when I try to charge the phone's battery (its not a blinking red light but its just red)

3) Phone is recognized by my computer and Setool etc. but it automatically disconnects when it gets "identified" by Setool.

4) I can't flash the phone's FS, MAIN or customization at the same time without it disconnecting from Setool (computer) at 20% of flashing.

5) I was able to flash the customization file on its own but it didn't help.

6) I was able to flash the EROM by following the guide but it didn't help.

What I think is wrong with my seK810i
1) I believe that the phone's GDFS is damaged and that it is not able to be fixed by any software.

2) The reason I believe that the GDFS is damaged is because another TopSony member's phone had the same characteristics as my seK810i. Here is the link to that member's problem:

If anyone is able to come to a different conclusion as to the problem I'm experiencing please respond.

Does anybody know, how can I get the log in password for the D-Client?
I am regisrated at the cruiser sites and also here at top sony, but all the time I start the D-Client it says unlocked - wrong password or username.

After 2 days a got a mail with the log in infotmations. All I can say about D-Client is:
It is cheap and it does not work and just cost money.

Hi there friends.

I fixed my previous problem. I used the USB+POWER adapter cables and connected my dead (IR port RED light blinking) SE K810i to SeTool (the current version). I followed the guide on reflashing my mobile phone's FS, MAIN and CUSTOMISATION. All went well becuase, and I assume this, of the USB+POWER cable combo: the phone did not disconnect anymore.

Now listen up you Noobs out there (this is coming from a Noob myself);
Curiosity killed the cat, or in my case, curiosity relocked my perfectly normal and working SE K810i.

Here is what I, ever so curiously, did:
1. After doing my victory dance and at the same time screaming "Who is your daddy!" to my previously dead SE K810i, I went ahead and downloaded SUSE (SE Update thingo).
2. I then connected my mobile and the program upgraded its firmware to CID53.
3. My SE K810i is locked again - at least it's not dead anymore.

Now I did do some research, and I found:
1. No current program can unlock or patch CID53 (DB2020) phones.
2. There are Pay options for this I assume.

I just want to be 100% sure on this, and that is why I need expert advice as to my latest predicament.
1. Are any programs currently being made to handle CID53 (DB2020) in terms of unlocking or patching?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My problem is solved:
(1) I purchased a "Sim Unlocker" from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
(2) I followed the directions of that site's review section
(3) My mobile was not listed on the website or the uploaded document but it worked
(4) I used the "0003" code by entering it instead of the "1234" Sim code - all explained on the website.

Finally, its done. Thanks to all who helped me in the past. Bye
