--W810 [Unlocked] ...help...

Ok i have read thru alot of material and tutorials but have 2 questions.

I own a W810i (unlocked) phone, service is thru Cingular.

I am aware of how to access my /fs thru far, but i have a question
for other w810 users.

Which main/fs/cda do you recomend for a US (America) user?
my thought were to use:
main: W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.rar
fs: W810_R4ED001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49.rar
cda: CDA102555/107 -- or -- Helen_CDA102494_76_AMERICA_2.zip
which CDA should i use?

The other question i have is regarding my {Cingular} logo.
i have an unlocked phone so can someone tell me which [Main]
will get rid of my logo after i flash. Or can someone tell me or provide link
to script to edit for that.

Using FAR Manager/SEFP find the FS/tpa/system/layout/layout.xml file.
Highlight the file and hit Edit (F4).
Search (F7) for the object "StatusIndication" and and you will find this:

<sett name="Height" value="176"/>
</settings>

CHANGE 1 WITH 4 AND OPERATOR LOGO WILL VANISH. Make sure all other settings are the same as here.

Save (F2) and Quit (F10) editor.
Exit FAR Manager (remember to move to the top of the filesystem and answer YES to close the CSFSloader).
Disconnect and restart phone again.

Just in case ...
if u put a custom layout.xml, in case of a master reset (full reset) the modified layout.xml will be deleted by the system (maybe a failed crc check?) and the phone will become nearly unusable. So you'll have to access through FAR manager in order to to reupload it.

I used these combination for my w810 but i got configuration error.
i tried atleast 3 times with this cob but every time i got config error.\

Please is there someone who has actually flashed there phone, give us worked Main+FS+custom pack.

I guess you don`t copy correct the custfiles. Copy all files from the Custpack to tpa/preset/custom folder. try with other custpack (America 2), maybe that custpack is wrong
