Free Calling?

I've heard some of my friends and seen some sites that says that you can call somewhere for free. Like you know how you have those emergency numbers in the special number column they say like you can some how add like numbers and can call who whatever for free and stuff. Is it like possible?o.o I see the special numbers in the contact option page on my phone.

i can't add any numbers to the list. even the service numbers menu don't have an add option.

but it'd be really cool if that worked and on the other hand, i don't think the networks would allow it even a bit

AFAIK the emergrenci calling is possible even the SIM-card is off the phone...so this shouldnt be a problem for network...:D...but AFAIK this is impossible!

free calling is not possible via gsm mode , only with fring on the 3g mode and gprs charges still apply
