Hi,
How can i connect my w810i to a macbook to make a firmware update?
If it's not possible, what is the best way to do it...

All the programs needed to flash are for windows. The best way to do it: ask a friend for a computer with windows, and follow one of the many tutorials available on this site.

i've been having the same problem, i have only a linux machine connected to the net and there is no software to do it. :(

unfortunately you will have to use someone else's pc. there's just no way around it unless you have one of the new macs that also runs pc apps through the program "bootcamp". using the SE update service on the phone itself doesn't usually find any firmware updates either so you'll have to update via pc. this bothers me because SE's designs and interfaces have an inherently mac feel to them, to me anyway.
