yes u heard it right ......

feVer 104 fm radio from ht media group now has a RDS support

in delhi @ freq. 104...

I LoVe fever 104 ....


its not a rumour u can come to delhi eith ur RDS enabled handset...

DS, standing for the Radio Data System, adding a basic data and text service to FM radio.
Along with the audio, small amounts of text and data are transmitted with the radio signal, and can be picked up and processed by radios have have an RDS decode built-in. Such radio receivers can display this information.

fever's hot & happenin here in angalore as well, and yes, we do have RDS here as well...and not only fever, some other channels support it as well

But do you think that RDS is really that necessary? It is a nice feature but I would prefer DVB-H or even DVB-T in my mobile.

Still, yet to come for Bangalore, yet I get good quality of sound with Radio reception.
