Remove the 2 lines in the operator logo :tested working on K750, W810I

Using FAR Manager/SEFP find the FS/tpa/system/layout/layout.xml file.
Highlight the file and hit Edit (F4).
Search (F7) for the object "StatusIndication" and edit the lines in the "settings" section like this.

Hello. I donot knew, how to change setting by using FAR manager. I have no experiance with this programm. :confused:

i'm sorry guys, after i edit my layout.xml and my operator logo has gone, but it seem after i change my themes there's error on top it?? but if i use any other themes the error is missing??

For me personally is more convenient to download layout.xml to PC and edit with notepad. Then upload modified file to phone. Just be careful when saving to choose UTF-8 encoding. This method works for me over an year on my SE V600. Just a tip: if value is 4 - both lines are removed and if value is 3 - only first line is removed.

No, it doesent.. Its just for the operator logo to be removed...

Well, it does for me. I kept this setting as it was and changed some suboption instead to move the operator line away. Then I tweaked more to move the date up, the time down etc. so that it does not interfere with my wallpaper. It was trial and error, but now I am done. I think layout.xml is different for each phone (i got Z710), so your mileage may vary.

Yep, this one is just an okay way to really get rid of it without the use of patches.
I did however have some problems getting it to work until i used a customized firmware model.

its working on all se phones after k750i. I deleted the oplogon on my k510 and now on my w300i:) Since db2010, every se has layout.xml /i dont know how about older db2000 phones/, so you can delete it on k310:D

Well I just broke my w300i phone :(

When I ran XS++ I should of "ONLY flash your MAIN with w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw" I was in the wrong folder and ended up flashing it with "W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn". Now my phone wont turn on - I still can connect to it with XS++, is thier a way to fix it?

Man, i have a w300 and i've did the mod at layout.xml and i've got:

1st line: removed
2nd line: have cuted a little part of the text and no more.

can i remove the 2 lines or keep the second line integrally?

Hi all, a bit of a noob at this but can anyone tell me how to change the phone number input so its bigger as i used a custom pack uploaded to my phone using XS++ and now there small numbers, i have got a W810i.
BTW, how can you tell if your phone is unbranded (apart from the obvious brands on the fascia) as i have also uploaded flash themes and themes to my phone and they don't work.

I got the story for you!
I live in Canada, and then I was travelling to United States.
My phone network is Rogers (operator logo shown in first line in Standby)
The another Operator logo (AT&T or T-Mobile) appeared in first line, then "Rogers" move to second line (under AT&T or T-Mobile).
I was planning to remove the operator logo in second line.

So I edited the layout.xml.
The number shown in red, so you can change it to remove the second operator logo.

For db2020 with 240x320, not tested with 176x220

It's worked, the second one disappeared.

You always change it when you want to remove all the operator logo.
